Who we are looking for now?
Sales Manager
Sales Manager with 3-5 years experience selling technology or recruitment into the FMCG and/or agency sector. You must be hard working, not afraid to get your sleeves rolled up on the phones doing lead-gen and outbound direct sales – with a good book of contacts already in the sector. You’ll be passionate about technology, ambitious to prove your ability, make money and be excited about the opportunity to build upon Huddle’s proven success in the sector with clients including Boots, MasterCard, Kerry Foods, Vitamins Direct, Firefly and a roster of well known marketing agencies.
Product Manager
Product Manager with at least 3 years of Product Management experience in a successful web company. You will be establishing the production management function within Huddle, bringing experience, structure and an analytical approach to the way we define our web application. This is an exciting opportunity to greatly influence the future of a successful Web 2.0 company from the early stages, define how product management is done, and grow the product team as the company grows. Responsibilities include (1) taking the high level business and product vision and turn this in to a set of user stories that the development team can work on (2) lead initiatives, report to the board and drive improvements in key metrics around application stickiness and conversion from free to paying account (3) ensuring the application is as intuitive and usable as possible, including conducting usability tests or A-B testing as appropriate
C# .Net Developers
Bright and enthusiastic software developer with an excellent understanding of the principles of object oriented design and what constitutes good development practice. This would include some knowledge of design patterns. At least 12 months commercial experience writing back-end C# including database interaction, or possibly commercial Java experience with a good working knowledge of C#. A good understanding of agile software development as well as the concepts of Test Driven Development and unit testing; hands-on experience of these would certainly be a plus. Experience of some of the following: NHibernate, NUnit, Cruise Control, Subversion, IIS 6, ASP.NET, SQL Server. Experience with XHTML, CSS, Javascript (inc. JQuery) and XML/XSLT is considered a bonus.
UI / Web Developers
UI / Web Developers with a successful track record in using accessible web standards to design, build and maintain web sites and web applications. A genuine passion for ‘web 2.0’ in general and beautiful design, elegance, usability and accessible web standards in particular are important. Ability to quickly take an idea from concept to design to working model is essential. Design skills and ability to translate them to the web must be first rate. Experience of working with web standards, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript (JQuery in particular although experience of any JS toolkit is great) and AJAX will ensure success in this role. Ability to demonstrate the ability to assimilate and deploy emerging technologies, contributing to the ongoing development of the product. Experience of working in tandem with a development team and any experience of .Net would be considered a plus. Experience with usability also considered a real bonus and cross-browser development experience is a must. Any PHP experience would also be a benefit. More information…
QA Manager
QA Professional with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deliver successfully in a collaborative environment. You are comfortable with technical detail and have a proven track record testing both user interface and server side functionality. You have experience in test automation or scripting, proficiency in SQL and an understanding of agile delivery practices, data driven testing and object oriented modelling. Responsibilities include (1) Working with the product owner and the development team to define test cases before development of new functionality (2) Executing tests against this test plan as part of the sign-off process for new development (3) Automating these tests where possible using suitable test automation tools such as Selenium.
