Charity Criteria
Due to the large number of applications we receive for the Huddle Foundation scheme, all applications will be considered on an individual basis by our board. Applying charities must be registered either with the Charity Commission (UK), have 501c(3) status with the IRS (USA) or be able to demonstrate their charitable status in other regions.
If your application is not successful for the full scheme, we may be able to offer excellent discounts on our standard packages – a member of the Huddle team will contact you with further details.
- Organisations which provide the following types of services MAY be eligible for a free package as part of the Huddle Foundation programme:
- Relief to the poor
- Advancement of social and community welfare
- Advancement of culture
- Advancement of the natural environment
- Other purposes beneficial to the community
- Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief organisations
- Health services & related activities
- Religious organisations, registered as a charity, with a secular community designation that is separate from the church or religious organisation that provides services to people regardless of their religious beliefs, and does not propagate a belief in a specific faith. Example: A food bank with charity status that is run by a church, but is a separate and unique organisation that provides food and meals to anyone who qualifies for services, regardless of religious beliefs.
- The following types of organisations are NOT eligible for the Huddle Foundation programme:
- Religious organisations without a secular community designation
- Governmental organisations or agencies
- Commerce and Trade Associations without charitable aims or activities
- Schools / universities
- Museums / libraries / zoos
- Organisations that advocate, support, or practice discrimination based on age, ethnicity, gender, national origin, disability, race, size, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic background. Organisations must be willing and able to attest that they do not discriminate on any of these grounds in order to apply.
